This book is not helpful at all. I'm sure the author is a fine person, but the book has no substance. It's like one of those internet articles that have general information, but nothing specific. For example, the author advises the reader to learn about tasks and duties of loan signings by signing up for a course. Why would a reader need to buy a book for this? I wanted perhaps some real advice on which documents would be in a loan signing and how to handle them. It would have been easy to show mock up samples of such specific information. However, she only gives advice about being dressed professionally, keep good records, bring along ink pens, have a cell phone, and such filler material. Much, much better information can be found on the notary websites, such as NNA, and AAN, all for free. I am sure the author meant to be helpful with this very thin book, but I want to warn folks from wasting their money.Product details

I love this little book, simple and to the point. Its perfect for first time notaries like myself and a great refresher for the older ones.
A very good book for a new Notary, now there are a few thing I do not think is right in it (like handing out business cards after some Singning, could be a big NO NO)
small books with nuggets of info are the way to go
This book is very easy to understand. It touches on all the points that I had questions about. It even gave examples of necessary letters for clients and businesses. Being new to this business, I feel this book was just what I needed to be more knowledgeable and confident in my signings and just setting out to get started. So worth buying.
It is the same information that I have researched I know all this info look like a page filler. Not satisfied
I didn't hate the book and it was not very informative. It was not 157 pages as it suggested it was so I was disappointed about that. I have several books and took a course to become a CNSA and I am always look for books to increase my knowledge. The information in this book was basically worth the $4.99 price I paid for the download.
Having recently gone through the notary training and testing, I wondered if there was something else I needed to know. "Mobile Notary Basics" provides great tips on marketing your business and how to complete the journal. This book also mentions that some mortgage companies have preferences as to where you get your Loan Signing Agent training. That is good to know.
Two drawbacks to this book are It really needs to be edited; and, I would have liked to have read more about fees.
That being said, the value of the information in this book exceeds the price you pay to read this.
